A refreshing newsletter with small, but fine nuggets to help you develop your leadership and management skills.

A tip that will help you grow as a person and develop your leadership skills.
Good leaders think in terms of generations, not projects
I always thought that the most important task of leaders was to combine vision communication and strategy. That's why my answer was completely wrong when the question was asked at a congress: "What is the most important task of a leader that only leaders are gifted with?"
The answer became my personal Leadership Nuggets: recognizing future leaders and guiding them into their leadership calling.
I have never been able to verify whether this statement is objectively true. But I have seen that most leaders - myself included - hardly find time for this in their normal day-to-day treadmills unless we consciously schedule it in: time for targeted recognition (together with the team), for mentoring opportunities, for introducing them to leadership tasks, for discussions, support and involvement.
This is the key to much in the kingdom of God: accompany and develop the next generation as a mentor - who in turn will accompany the next.

Stefan Pahl
Stefan Pahl is a Protestant pastor and has been released to lead leben-begegnen.de, an ecumenical network in German-speaking countries with the venerable work of the group movement "Marburger Kreis", the youth association CROSSOVER and the pilgrimage project on the German Way of St. James: Germany pilgrims. After founding CROSSOVER in 1999, he was appointed Managing Director of the overall association in 2005. His heart for leadership was inspired by Willow Creek, which is why he is also involved in its leadership as a member of the executive committee. And because mentoring is so important for good leadership, he is involved as chairman of the Christian mentoring network cMn, which includes the online profiles of over 500 mentors.
