Are you in a leadership transition right now? Many leaders are, partly due to the effects of the pandemic, war etc.
Robert J. Clinton in “The making of a leader” describes the various phases in leadership and to enter one phase after the other, there is always a time of transition.
How about taking some time to reflect where you picture yourself right now? In which phase or transition do you might be?
Some transitions can take from 6 months to 6 years and can challenge us deeply.
We highly recommend his book where he interviewed 3000 leaders.

7 steps in delegation
Who does what? Maybe you do everything yourself because then you know it will be done? An African proverb: If you want to walk fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. What can you delegate to others to achieve more together?
Here are some great steps in delegation:
1. Tell: I will tell them
2. Sell: I will try and sell it to them
3. Consult: I will consult and then decide
4. Agree: We will agree together
5. Advise: I will advise but they decide
6. Inquire: I will inquire after they decide
7. Delegate: I will fully delegate
